The Taste of Martin County will be held at Memorial Park in Stuart in conjunction with The Big Golf Tournament presented on Sunday, April 7th by Treasure Coast Estate Buyers at Martin Downs Golf Club.

Employed by Fox, Wackeen, Dungey for twenty years.  Hired as Microfiche Clerk, transitioned to Scanning Clerk in 2005. Recognized by the Florida House of Representatives with House Resolution 2391 for Outstanding Achievement (1994). Florida All American Success Stories Award (2003). Tri County Tec Employee of the Year (1991, 1997), also nominated in 1995, 1998. Florida Governors Alliance for Employment of Disabled Citizens Private Sector Employee of the Year (1991). Treasure Coast Job Training Outstanding Employee (1991).

Community Activities: 
Kiwanis Action Club Vice-President (1993-1994). Supports United Way and Helping People Succeed. In 2009, Ruth saved the life of her cab driver by contacting emergency services when he collapsed in her driveway and remaining with him until medical assistance arrived.
